From what I can find, both prospects are pretty much total bums, but Ford may have some value as the Mark Sweeney of pinch-running.
Additionally, for all the crap we gave Ray Durham about his lack of production in non-contract years and the Houdini nature of his abilities at 2B, the guy is a class-act. He asked that the trade not be made official until after Sunday's game and that tipped the scales for me. Good guy, good Giant, and his presence, even if only as a scapegoat for the frustrated fan, will be missed.
